INTRODUCTION. Since this is a big project and I’m building the site in layers, it seems easier to put notes on what is being added all in one place. My process goes slow, and so does my progress. I am trying to sift through the flood of details just as others are, and make sense of it as best I can, in plugging away at it as what time allows. This page will chart the progress toward completing the site, for those who are checking back for updates. I will list the most recent notes first. I generally will not list updates to the Table of Contents portion of page 01 Introduction, as that will change regularly as descriptions are removed when a bullet list of items on that page is added. I will also not list corrections of typos and grammar unless they make some kind of substantive change in the content.

August 19, 2015. UPDATE: On August 18, The Wartburg Watch posted “So Sad: Tony Jones Reportedly Sues Julie McMahon for Custody of All of the Children.” The article notes that “Tony is suing Julie for the custody of the rest of her children and is reportedly claiming that Julie is an unfit mother. This is the woman who cared for the children while Tony pursued his degree, his career and then another relationship. Julie was there for those children all of those years.” No details available at this time on related court schedule for his litigation.

February 1, 2015. New section on “Wrestling with the Larger Issues” added to 12: Toxicology. Description: The past few days have seen additional statements posted for various sides of the Emergent controversy, along with the threat of a lawsuit. In light of these developments, I am adding here links to posts that are looking at the larger issues, for those who want to grapple with the significance of this situation, how it has been playing out, and how it potentially affects how people perceive Christianity. The posts themselves and the range of comments they are attracting are worth reading, whether I agree with the content or not. I am not aiming for comprehensive sourcing here, but simply linking to selected posts that I feel examine the larger framework of what’s going on and how we are (mis)treating one another and what we can potentially do to change course.
